Social Media Addiction

Lori Oberman, MA MFT joins the show for a fun conversation about a serious subject: social media addiction. She offers insights and helpful tools that may benefit both teens and adults. What are the signs that addiction is a problem? Why is this growing trend getting worse and yes, it seems the U.S. is behind on addressing the reality of the situation. In this conversation we talk about limiting screen time, is your device interferring with your sex life and other topics. Not found in this conversation but a reminder: people are actually dropping dead in cyber cafes in other parts of the world. Risking physical health in exchange for that sought after screen time for gaming or social media. The long term affects on our society are still unknown.
