Would you Date Someone that is HSV-2 (Herpies) Positive?

Let's talk about sex! Today's episode is all about the sexual transmitted disease, herpes. Herpes is one of the most common STDs in the dating scene. In fact, in 2016, 3.7 BILLION people under the age of 50 have HSV-1. Genital herpes caused by HSV-2 affects about 491 MILLION people from 15-49 years old. Chances are, you may have been exposed to herpes sometime in your life and have no symptoms or you may know someone who has herpes. Either way, there is a stigma surrounding this STD.

I have TikToker Christpher Pickering on the podcast to spread awareness of how common HSV2 is and his journey with receiving his diagnosis while breaking the stigma. Christopher has helped thousands come to terms with their new status and continues to do so through his course Breaking Free from HSV and his TikTok videos.
