UNBiased Episode 68 with Noopur Joshi

What should we teach when answers are abundant?

For generations, education was built around access to knowledge. Learn the information. Memorise it. Repeat it.

But in a world where AI can instantly provide answers, that model is being challenged.

In this episode of UNBiased, I sit down with educator, curriculum designer and former architect Noopur Joshi to explore what learning might look like in the age of AI.

Together, we discuss the shift from memorisation to problem-solving, why judgment and discernment are becoming increasingly valuable, and how parents, educators and leaders can help young people develop the skills that technology cannot replace.

We also explore the rise of AI among children, the risks of outsourcing thinking too early, and why creating space for uncertainty may be more important than ever.

In this episode:

▪️ What happens when answers become abundant
▪️ Why education is moving towards problem-solving and metacognition
▪️ The role of judgment in an AI-enabled world
▪️ AI, bias and the development of young minds
▪️ Why human connection still matters
▪️ The importance of "incorporating the pause"
