The Birth Order Series: Episode 1 - The First Born

DISCLAIMER: There are no biological aspects of birth order which influence the personality of an individual, directly from birth (apart from the slight difference discussed with intelligence). However, environmental factors which tie into your birth category do have psychological impacts on the turnout of your personality, which is what is mainly discussed throughout this episode. Welcome to Rewired’s first ever mini-series! In this episode I break down the psychology behind the personality of firstborns. What stereotypes have been made about their personalities? What does the personality of a typical firstborn look like? Listen on to find out more..If you want to dive deeper, these research papers and articles below elaborate on some of the concepts i’ve discussed, and were mentioned at throughout the course of the episode:Paper one: "The associations of birth order with personality and intelligence in a representative sample of U.S. high school students”Paper two: “Examining the effects of birth order on personality”Article one: “Games Parents and Adolescents Play”Socials:Spotify - Rewired Instagram - OfficialRewiredYouTube - OfficialRewiredEmail - khadija.farrash@gmail.comDiscord - The Rewired Community / link in my LinktreeLinktree in the channel description!Comment down below what you’d like to hear next, drop some feedback, or some questions about todays topic!
