Orange Is The New Black launched on Netflix in 2013 as one of the streamers very first original shows, no one could have known that it would change the face of television, forever, in the absolute best & the absolute worst way. Although Orange Is The New Black was hugely successful for Netflix, bringing in millions of subscribers & earning over a billion, unlike other Netflix juggernauts, the cast did not share in the financial success. Which caused massive tensions behind the scenes & these tensions continued to escalate throughout the show’s seven seasons.
