But timing is more than a slide, it can make or break a company. It’s the difference between pets.com and the trillion-dollar company selling the exact same idea a decade later.

In this episode, Yaniv Bernstein sits down with Paul Orlando, who has built four startup accelerators supporting over 300 companies, including Hong Kong's first accelerator and a program in Rome run in partnership with the Vatican, and has taught entrepreneurship at USC for over a decade, where he also runs one of LA's largest startup incubators. Paul has spent years obsessing over a single question: why do some ideas succeed while near-identical ones fail years earlier? The answer became his book, ‘Why Now?
