Marine Le Pen wants to become the next French President despite upheld conviction

On Europe Today this Wednesday, a surprise result for many in France as National Rally leader Marine Le Pen has declared she will be running for president in 2027 despite Paris Appeals Court upholding her embezzlement conviction. Euronews' Mared Gwyn presses National Rally MEP Fabrice Leggeri on her decision. Meanwhile, the NATO Summit in Ankara has taken an unexpected turn after President Trump began berating partners of the alliance over a lack of support on Iran, which has been hit by fresh strikes from the US as the Summit goes on.
