Before streaming playlists, algorithms and music in the cloud, there were MP3 folders, custom media-player skins, painfully slow downloads and trance tracks that seemed to last forever.

Episode 007 takes us back to the turn of the millennium for over 90 minutes of late-90s and early-2000s trance classics.

This was the sound of a scene becoming global: soaring melodies, rolling basslines, extended club mixes and records built to carry a dancefloor deep into the night.

Featuring Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Energy 52, Cygnus X, Transa, Mario Più, Balearic Bill, Spoiled & Zigo and more, Millennium Trance Transmission captures the years when trance was moving from record bags and import CDs onto home computers, burned discs and carefully organised MP3 collections.

Expect the Nalin & Kane remix of Café Del Mar, Tiësto’s Sparkles, Cygnus X’s Superstring, Alibi’s Eternity and a collection of deeper turn-of-the-millennium favourites from 1998 to 2001.
