Why d4vd Went Back To The Same Highway Six Weeks Later?!

Prosecutors put the motive on the record on Day 2 of d4vd's preliminary hearing — and then revealed where Burke allegedly went after Celeste Rivas Hernandez was killed. Financial testimony established that Burke earned over $10 million between 2022 and 2025 from his Interscope deal and brand partnerships. The contract was terminated three months after the body was discovered. A money manager on Burke's team testified he knew Celeste's first name and had heard about Burke taking her to London. Then a CHP officer took the stand with a detail that stopped the courtroom: a Caltrans worker found Celeste's passport card in tall grass off a rural highway in Santa Barbara County, ninety-five miles northwest of Burke's home. Prosecutors allege Burke drove to that stretch of highway twice — once immediately after the alleged killing and again about six weeks later. The defense attacked the chain of custody.
