Wimberley Info | Things to do in Wimberley | Wimberley, Texas

The main things to do in Wimberley,Texas tend to involve being outside in the beautiful Texas hill country, taking in some of the local texas music, or shopping!

Some of Our favorite places to visit to get a hike in are Blue Hole, Jacobs Well, and Mount baldy.

If you make reservations at Blue Hole or Jacobs Well swimming in them is definitely something everyone needs to experience at least once in their lives! Mount Baldy you don’t need a reservation for, located at the edge of town in Woodcreek Mount Baldy consists of a beautiful set of stone steps leading up to a breathtaking view of the town that you just can’t beat.

If you’re not the out doorsy type then you can shop to your hearts content at the monthly market day the first saturday of each month and on the Wimberley Square as well as viewing the many art galleries or taking part in a wine tasting!

After you’ve worn yourself out you’ve got a few options for snacks. With the iconic Wimberley snowcone stand in the middle of town, the wooden spoon frozen yogurt shop on the square, and the bubble waffles available at cactus coffee shop you can find something for everyone in the family!

There are a handful of food options in town as well, our favorites for consistently delicious food and great service are Mimas and the Wimberley Cafe. Mimas and the Diamond Shamrock ((yes, the gas station)) are both famous for their breakfast tacos in town as well!

If it’s a weekend make sure that you hit the square in the evening and just listen for the music! Usually there will be at least a couple of options!
