683. Is Music Subconciously Programming You?

So many women are so afraid to pivot and follow their calling when they’ve found something that’s comfortable. At the height of her career, Devi Brown was interviewing greats in the music industry such as Quincy Jones and Kendrick Lamar, but she felt called to do something else with her life. So she mustered up the courage to leave her dream job and dove into a world of personal growth and spirituality. Now she is a Reiki healer, founder of KARMA BLISS, and an advocate for creating more space for women of color in the wellness industry — both as educators and as participants. She talks about taking that leap, the growth she’s done throughout quarantine, how she’s owned it, some of her favorite modes of healing, and being a mother. Morning Microdose is a podcast curated by Krista Williams and Lindsey Simcik, the hosts and founders of Almost 30, a global community, brand, and top rated podcast. With curated clips from the Almost 30 podcast, Morning Mircodose will set the tone for your day, so you can feel inspired through thought provoking conversations…all in digestible episodes that are less than 10 minutes. Wake up with Krista and Lindsey, both literally and spiritually, Monday-Friday. If you enjoyed this conversation, listen to the full episode on Spotify here and on Apple here.
