This week I'm on the beach in California with my new friend Julia Poe Petersen. You might know her voice before you know her name. She sang the collab verse on one of my favorite Forest Frank songs, and I knew I had to have her on!

Julia's story is a social media story through and through. Viral livestreams from her bedroom piano during Covid, a husband she met on TikTok, an audience of 850,000+ built. But this conversation isn't really about the growth. It's about what it took to stay steady underneath it. The comparison she battled at 16, the discontent that crept in the moment the whole world showed up in her pocket, and how she found an identity that didn't move every time the numbers did.
