#303 - 3 Hacks to Stop Your AI Content Sounding Like AI

I recently got publicly accused of being a robot. On the one post I'd actually written myself. 🤖

Every other post that week was written by my AI, and nobody said a word. Then I write one by hand from an airport lounge, and the comments roll in calling it AI slop. Which tells you one of two things about how well trained my setup is.

Here's why it matters though. It doesn't matter how good your content actually is. The second someone gets that little AI-ick reading it, their brain checks out and they stop trusting a word of it. So if your stuff has that tell, it's costing you, even when what you're saying is brilliant.

Most people land in one of two camps. They've decided they don't care that it sounds like a robot, or they've given up and gone back to writing everything by hand.

There's a third option, and it's the one I actually use.

In this episode I'm walking through the three hacks that stop my AI content sounding like AI. The skill that sweeps every AI tell out of my content right before it goes live. How I trained my AI on the way I actually speak, imperfect grammar and all. And the trigger words I use to pull it straight back into line the second it starts to drift.
