Compassion That Sees Clearly

In this ZenEnergy reflection, Diana Zen explores compassion that sees clearly.

There are moments when we imagine compassion as softness, patience, or giving more. But compassion can lose its ground when it becomes separated from clear seeing. A generous heart can still become self-erasure when care begins to ask us to disappear.

This episode continues a small ZenEnergy series on the principle that clarity and compassion are not two. It reflects on compassion that remains warm without abandoning reality, care that can pause before over-giving, and the dignity of meeting what is true without hardening the heart.

What am I calling compassion that may actually be self-abandonment?
What is the most humane way to meet what is true?
Where does care need clear seeing in order to remain real?
