Julianne Hough: Everything We Never Knew

This week, Julianne Hough joins Nikki & Artem to talk about her world away from the dance floor, her personal transformation, breakdancing at the Olympics, and her new book “Everything We Never Knew.”

To kick things off, Nikki & Artem open up with his reaction to doing Savor in Chicago, his crossroads as he contemplates life after professional dancing, and Nikki ponders how things in her life would be different if she were allowed to try out for school plays as a kid.

Then Julianne Hough joins the conversation. From dance to acting to music and writing, she defies labels as she uniquely chronicles her awakening. She tells Nikki & Artem all about some tough times that guided her to a rebirth of her energy and purpose in all aspects of her life. Now, that revival is causing a metamorphosis of gratitude and personal development in the world around her.

This conversation is so important to Julianne that she declines a call from her brother Derek in the middle of the interview so that she can lock into Nikki & Artem as they talk about helping others redefine themselves, which is a process that Artem himself is going through and realizing that Dancing with the Stars isn’t just about scores on the dance floor, but emotional and spiritual evolution.

To close out the conversation, Julianne also has a very strong reaction to dance finally being in the Olympics, the response to Australian breakdancer RayGun going viral for all the wrong reasons, and her hope for ballroom dancing to get a shot in the 2028 games in Los Angeles.
