Brie & Bryan: The Deep & The Simple

Brie and Bryan are coming to you straight from the lake house in special conversation about parenthood, regrets, grunge music, and an abundance of butts.

Things get started when Brie recounts a few recent experiences with Buddy in public that all revolve around his fascination with butts, including spanking a grown man in a grocery store, which was a mortifying experience for Brie.

The conversation jumps from butts to golf and the realization that even at this young age, Buddy has mastered the art of getting on his big sister’s nerves. Birdie Danielson might have a bright future in the world of golf if she can overcome getting heckled by her little brother.

Bryan puts a new spin on something he did the last time they taped an episode together; he got the kids to ask a few questions to Brie and one of them broke the rules and made a statement. If things keep tracking for him, the child will not make it to the second round of Jeopardy!

From flowers to babies to animals and childhood memories, Brie touches on a lot of topics that Birdie and Buddy want to know about. Bryan also has his own list of insightful questions that touch on the shallow, like celebrity crushes and movies, and get rather deep, like regrets and Brie’s spiritual life.

To close things out, the main topic of this episode, Buddy Danielson himself, crashes Inspiration & Affirmation and has one demand for his father that ends the show. What is it?
