Episode 20 - Our Children Are Watching

Episode 20 - Our Children Are Watching

What stories will our children tell about us one day?

After hosting our annual 4th of July party, we found ourselves reflecting on the memories that have stayed with us since childhood. It wasn't always the biggest vacations, the most expensive gifts, or the perfectly planned holidays that we remembered. More often, it was the simple moments—moments that carried emotion, joy, comfort... or even hurt—that left a lasting impression.

In this episode, we talk about the incredible influence parents have through their everyday actions and responses. The words we choose, the patience we show, the way we handle stress, and the time we invest in our children all become part of the story they'll one day tell about their childhood.

We discuss why it's worth slowing down, extending grace instead of anger, and intentionally creating memories that point our children toward love, security, and joy. None of us will parent perfectly, but every day is another opportunity to leave a legacy our children will be grateful for.

Join us for an honest conversation about parenting with eternity in mind and ask yourself one important question:
