Episode 5 w/ Gary Morrell

Episode #5 is one story that is very close to our hearts here on the podcast. It is one that has been highly anticipated and it wasn’t easy to share. Our very own Gary Morrell was diagnosed with stage 4, lung cancer in March 2020. At the time of his diagnosis Gary was just 35 years old, with a wife, a 2 year old daughter & a 9 month old son. A week after Gary’s diagnosis we entered our first Lockdown during the pandemic, meaning Gary and his family had to battle through the hardest time of their lives, without any extended family support. Join us to hear Gary’s full story on how his young Irish family dealt with a terminal illness , on the far side of world, here in Perth, right in the middle of the covid pandemic! Garys journey isn’t over yet. But we hope that by sharing his story, his positive message helps others on the same journey or perhaps even prevents a diagnosis by outlining the areas of his life that he feels contributed to him becoming unwell.
