Call 7:The Calls From the Inside Gypsy Rose to Kristy 8-7-2016 Vandalia Environment and Malpractice Contemplations

Gypsy and Kristy compare the environment of Vandalia (which looks like a farm but has crappy food and controlled movement) with Chillicothe. They discuss their search for an entertainment lawyer and malpractice attorneys, focusing heavily on Dr. Beckerman. Gypsy admits mixed emotions because Beckerman was nice to her and in her life the longest, but Kristy argues he did a great disservice by validating false diagnoses. Gypsy agrees to write her attorney, Mike, granting Erin Lee Carr access to discovery. She shares stories of prison life, including a roommate who threw a table and was sent to segregation, and learning to do laundry for the first time.

Insider From Fancy: This was a hard one for me to swallow. I always felt it was odd that they essentially knew nothing about contracts, lawyers, etc.. but just assumed the networks took advantage of that like they often do. Boy was I wrong. They knew all about this stuff and played me to seem like they were totally ignorant. Later years they again act like I somehow bamboozled a poor girl who just doesn't understand things when they absolutely did. Beckerman did not validate false diagnosis. He ran tests and went by the findings. He wasn't even involved in her diagnosis beyond sleep study and pulmonary. Do I think he was sus? You bet your ass I do. But do I think he was colluding with DD like that? No. He is likely who got DD hooked up with services in LA but again based on her REAL conditions those were 100 percent valid.
