The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders has a formal diagnosis for caffeine withdrawal.

It does not have one for postpartum psychosis.

As I record this, the jury in Plymouth has told the judge for the second time in two days that it cannot agree on whether Lindsay Clancy was criminally responsible. Five weeks of trial. More than eighty witnesses. The judge has now read them the Tuey-Rodriguez charge, the last instruction he has, and under Massachusetts law he can't read it again without their consent.

A commentator who looked at a stranger holding her own baby and asked where CPS was.
