Eps 135 - Vodka, Quizzes and Horoscope, Oh My!

I believe it is important to discuss this particular topic in this podcast—well, maybe not the vodka part, but I believe it's important that we know how quizzes, anagrams, human design, and horoscopes can disempower you if you let them rule your life. Don't get me wrong; I don't have a problem with belief in horoscopes, astrology, or the like if you use them as navigation tools. However, I do think it's a problem when you let it get in the way of life or if you let it dictate the way you decide on things, such as saying things like:

"I can't do that because my human design is that I'm a flighty manifester, and because of that I have to wait till someone invites me to do something.”

“Oh, I’m a Pisces and he’s an Aries, so that is why our relationship didn’t work.”

“Oh, yeah, I could see why I can't get opportunities because I'm the type of person who has to be invited.”

I think that needs to stop. When you start looking for excuses on why things didn’t work in your life instead of actually reflecting on yourself and the decisions you’ve made, then that in itself is what’s dragging you down. Your mindset is holding you back from being a better person, getting more opportunities, or making your relationship work. You need to realize how uniquely different you are.
