The Patter of the Rain

Good Evening, Dreamer! Tonight's sleepy tale will take you on a walk after a rain shower. You'll feel the cool breeze on your skin, see a young scrub jay preening in a tree, and enjoy peach cobbler at Grandma's. These tales are designed to be engaging enough to hold the attention of that busy brain of yours until the sound of my voice soothes you to sleep. They are safe for all ages, a bit nostalgic, and usually told from the perspective of a young person, so feel free to share them with anyone you like. If you are using these tales to learn English, you are very welcome, too. Most of the platforms have a transcript available. You might find that helpful.
