The Storm Left Concert Stands in Pieces Before AC/DC Even Arrives

The Storm Left Concert Stands in Pieces Before AC/DC Even Arrives

Yesterday's windstorm in Toronto left more than just chaos on the sidewalks. Stadium scaffolding built for an upcoming AC/DC show took real damage, and there's cleanup work ahead before the concert can go on as planned.

The storm talk gives way to a look back at 1988, the year CDs took over from vinyl in sales, with one crew member revealing exactly how many records sit in his personal collection and how often he actually puts one on.

There's also a debate over whether vinyl genuinely sounds different from a CD, or whether the appeal is really about the ritual of putting a record on in the first place.

Topics: AC/DC concert storm damage, vinyl collection, throwback Thursday, Toronto windstorm, mixtapes
