This week on the Teachers Off Duty Podcast, our hosts are spilling the tea on some of our wildest school fight stories, both as teachers and students. You'll find out which one of our panelists knew how to throw hands when they were young, and which one wasn't as successful.

This conversation takes a look at every side of what goes into a fight, from the teacher's role, how bullying affects student behavior, angry parents and how we can learn how to emotionally regulate before things get out of control.

In this episode we answer a lot of important questions: Should a teacher break up a fight? How should you handle a threat from a student? When should admin step in and when should you just handle this yourself? And how do you try and prevent fights from happening while getting bombarded with requests from parents, administrators and students?

We even give the listeners some helpful tips on how to stay as calm as a teacher possibly can through social-emotional learning, grounding techniques and breathing exercises. But even if you're not a teacher, you'll find plenty of tricks you can use in your daily life.

So take a deep breath, don't worry about throwing hands, sit back and relax and enjoy this latest episode of Teachers Off Duty.
