What Happens to a Narcissist When They Die?

What happens on the other side to someone who spent their life hurting the people closest to them?

This week, Allison and Sophia answer listener call-ins about some difficult questions surrounding death, trauma, justice and forgiveness. First, a caller asks whether the parents of murdered or missing children, including the Beaumont children, learn the truth about what happened once they cross over. Allison explains why communicating with victims isn’t as simple as asking them who committed the crime, and why she is especially careful when working with children who experienced violent deaths.

Then, a listener asks a deeply personal question about her malignant narcissistic mother: What happens to a narcissist when they die? Are they forgiven? Do they have to face the pain they caused? And can we be forced to spend the afterlife with someone we wanted nothing to do with in life?
