Dual Power is a form of organizing in which we build a new world in the shell of the old. In this panel we'll discuss how to build parallel social, economic, and political systems. We'll explore how these new systems erode capitalist and state institutions by meeting basic human needs, channeling collective action, challenging the legitimacy of the existing system and allowing a transfer of power and authority to these bodies of direct democracy.

El poder dual es una forma de organización en la que construimos un mundo nuevo de entre las cenizas del antiguo. En esta sesión discutiremos cómo construir sistemas sociales, económicos y políticos paralelos. Exploraremos cómo estos nuevos sistemas erosionan las instituciones capitalistas y estatales satisfaciendo las necesidades humanas básicas, canalizando la acción colectiva, desafiando la legitimidad del sistema existente y permitiendo una transferencia de poder y autoridad a estos cuerpos de democracia directa.

El poder dual és una forma d'organització en què construïm un món nou d'entre les cendres de l'antic. En aquesta sessió discutirem com construir sistemes socials, econòmics i polítics paral·lels. Explorarem com aquests nous sistemes erosionen les institucions capitalistes i estatals satisfent les necessitats humanes bàsiques, canalitzant l'acció col·lectiva, desafiant la legitimitat de el sistema existent i permetent una transferència de poder i autoritat a aquests cossos de democràcia directa.
