Saudi Oil Exports Hit as Yanbu Port Shuts Down

Saudi Oil Exports Hit as Yanbu Port Shuts Down

Saudi Arabia’s oil exports are under growing pressure as Yanbu, the kingdom’s key Red Sea crude export terminal, is suspended following the shutdown of the East-West pipeline. With two major routes that bypass the Strait of Hormuz effectively disrupted, the impact is already being felt across global oil markets.

In this episode of Epic Fury: The US-Iran War Podcast, we examine the Yanbu shutdown, Saudi Arabia’s struggle to keep crude flowing, and the sharp rise in oil prices as the war squeezes energy supplies from multiple directions.

We also cover Iran’s claim that it shot down another American drone over the Strait of Hormuz, explosions reported on Qeshm Island, the unresolved attack on the tanker MT El Gaia, and the rapidly worsening humanitarian situation in Yemen as Houthi forces consolidate control around the Bab el-Mandeb chokepoint.

Beyond the battlefield, we examine Iran’s diplomatic position, the stalled Hormuz shipping agreement, Washington’s growing weapons-stockpile problems, and a new Pentagon inspector general report revealing $33.4 billion in Operation Epic Fury spending, including $22.3 billion on munitions.

With the Strait of Hormuz and Bab el-Mandeb both severely constrained, Saudi Arabia is increasingly squeezed between two critical maritime chokepoints — and the consequences are spreading into global oil, fuel and shipping markets.

In this episode:
• Saudi Arabia’s Yanbu oil terminal shutdown
• East-West pipeline repairs and Saudi crude exports
• Oil prices surge as physical supply tightens
• Strait of Hormuz and Bab el-Mandeb disruption
• Iran claims another US drone shoot-down
• Explosions reported on Qeshm Island
• Houthi control of Yemen’s Red Sea coast
• The latest tanker attack and missing crew member
• Pentagon weapons shortages and Operation Epic Fury costs
• US-Iran diplomacy and the stalled Hormuz agreement
