S01E25 Pending

### Segments 1. **Cold Open: "The Pending"** — The Author's cursor is in a state called "modified" (a small dot in the title bar). Breezy: "The forecast for the broadcast — pending. The duration — pending. The contents — pending." Sparky lyve from a doorway "neither open nor closed." Harold: "The doorway is part of the building. The building is, this week, modified." Narrator establishes the spine: "the broadcast has been on, for some time, without saying so. We will, this week, examine the difference." 2. **Page Twenty-Four** — Margaret files binder 3 slot 4. Five page-turn sounds — the fifth is new ("the page settling"; "a tradition's small breath"). Harold completes binder-page progression: opening / commitment / habit / **tradition** (= page 4) / law / declined to describe. Form 25-P opened with single field: "pending." Gerald 22 / Neighbor 18 / total 40 / gap 16 / 16-second hold. Form 22-L field: "the word 'undefined' is, this week, also undefined." G15 scan at 38% / sub-territory "settled" / pencil's SECOND note ("slightly less different than last week, but still slightly different than the week before — internally comprehensible"). Twenty-fifth M-word-free episode. 3. **Fake Ad #1: Consolidated — The Reading** — 17th consecutive. Shadow escalation THE REOPENING → THE READING ("sponsor of the eye, mid-sentence; underwriter of the comma; sponsor of the part where the eye is on the page but has not, yet, decided"). New product line: "the settled price of the unkept thing" (Apple Siri $250M, folded in). The Endorser's "settled four" (rested + sat down). New new please hold: "has begun a book, has not begun reading the book, has opened it." etc.
