The Clutter Question — Plant Medicine for the Libra Equinox

As the Sun enters Libra at the equinox on September 22nd, day and night arrive at a moment of balance before tipping toward autumn in the Northern Hemisphere and spring in the Southern Hemisphere. But what if balance isn't something we create by continually adding more?

In this episode of Rooted in the Stars, I reflect on my own process of clearing drawers, cabinets, and old herbs from my apothecary-and the realization that having more does not necessarily create greater ease or beauty. Sometimes harmony returns when we release what has accumulated beyond its usefulness.

Together, we'll explore:

● Libra, the scales, and the meaning of right relationship

● How to recognize whether your system feels burdened and stagnant or depleted and dry

● Burdock (Arctium lappa) and Yellow Dock (Rumex crispus) for clearing and releasing

● Oat Straw (Avena sativa) and Marshmallow (Althaea officinalis) for nourishment and restoration

● Nettle (Urtica dioica) as the fulcrum-an herb that builds and clears at the same time

● The equinox as a reference point for remembering what balance feels like in the body

Before reaching for more, this Libra season invites us to ask: What is ready to be removed? What nourishment is genuinely missing? What small adjustment might allow the whole system to breathe again?

Harmony is not a quantity. It is a relationship we tend, one honest adjustment at a time.

Thanks for watching and please leave a comment. How is this moment of adjustment showing up for you right now?
