Caleb Flynn Called 911 Sobbing — Then Said WHAT?!

Caleb Flynn was sobbing on the phone with a 911 dispatcher at 2:30 in the morning, telling them somebody broke into his Tipp City, Ohio, home and killed his wife Ashley. Two gunshot wounds to her head. Their two young daughters asleep in the next room. A burglar he never saw, using a gun that prosecutors say belonged to Caleb himself. Within hours, investigators from Tipp City police, the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation, and the FBI were inside that house and the home invasion story was already falling apart. The physical staging didn't match. The details Caleb gave the dispatcher didn't track with a man who had just discovered his wife's body. Eighty-two hours after that call, Caleb Flynn was in the back of a police car. The former American Idol contestant and worship leader — the man who once told a national audience he loved his wife more than anything — was headed to the Miami County Jail. A grand jury indicted him on 11 charges including aggravated murder, felonious assault, tampering with evidence, and witness intimidation. His bond was set at $3.5 million.
