Combing Sedna’s Hair: When the People Who Need You Are the Ones Who Threw You Overboard

Those severed fingers become the animals that sustain the community, while Sedna becomes the powerful keeper of the sea below. Psychologically, it is a remarkable story about betrayal, dependency, resentment, and the strange experience of becoming indispensable to the very people who have benefited from your wounds.
