RetroRGB Interview: Ace

Here's an interview with Ace; Genesis aficionado, clone console tinkerer, fellow retrogaming nerd like the rest of us! Check out links to Ace's work below, as well as FLAC audio samples as discussed in the interview. Please support the Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/retrorgb

Ace asked if I'd post these minor corrections to the interview:

17:25 - A CMOS device can both source and sink current, and while an NMOS gate typically sinks current through a pull-up resistor, the YM2612's DAC outputs SOURCE current through 2.2Kohm pull-down resistors connected to the analog outs. In short, both the YM2612 and YM3438 source current, but the YM3438 can source far more of it.

18:29 - Resistance was dropped to 510ohms on later Genesis revisions' power pins to the YM3438, not 560ohms.

38:24 - Just a clarification on the Super NES video warping at the top of the screen, it's only visible in the top overscan area. Within the actual video frame, the warping is not visible.

45:32 - 1Vpp is the voltage for Composite (combined signal and sync), what I meant to say there was 0.7Vpp, which is the voltage required for RGB (had Composite on my mind during that segment, for some reason).
