RTP Adventures - Ruby and Sapphire Part 15

We've earned the 5th badge in Hoenn in our playthrough of Gen 3 and so now to start the journey there in the manga and anime.

First, in the manga, we finally catch up with Ruby, who we last left sleeping in a car a while ago. He finally starts winning some ribbons in a contest before dealing with a tunnel collapse.

Then, in the anime, a new Pokemon joins the team, Ash actually returns to battle someone for once out of all the times he's claimed he would, and May takes on another contest. We may even be witnessing the start of a romance!

After the episode, stat tuned to catch up with Hanako as she takes on Misty in the Cerulean Gym and Violet gets some startling news!
