The One Thing That Got Me Through My Divorce

We're bringing you a special divorce episode because we know so many of you are either in the messy middle of it, or have come out the other side and found some unexpected freedom (aka the silver linings amongst the heartbreak).

First up, the Unleashed hosts have done the research and found some of the wildest ex stories to prove that, whatever your ex has done, yours might not be the worst. There’s a tampon “found on the street”, a cheater who sent a Brené Brown video as an apology, and a man who took out an AVO against his own five-foot-five ex after she caught him cheating.

Sally, Ginni and Cath are the divorcees of the group, and they’re joined by Mamamia host Annaliese Todd to share their hard-earned wisdom in a very non-advice advice episode.

Ginni hired an actual dating coach and became a self-described dating maniac. Annaliese ditched her married name the second she saw it on a restaurant reservation card. And Cath wrote a memoir called Currently Between Husbands because, at the time, she didn’t know a single other divorced woman.

Because sometimes the best divorce advice is simply hearing someone else say: yep, me too.
