The Doll Maker: 44 Girls, 10 Years, No One Noticed

Police expected to find stolen property in a Nizhni Nóvgorod apartment in 2011. Instead, they discovered 44 life-sized "dolls" dressed in children's clothing-until an officer touched one. How did a respected academic, hired by the police to solve crimes, commit such an unthinkable act for over a decade without anyone noticing?

In this episode, we delve into the chilling case of Anatoli Moskvin, known in Russia as "the Doll Maker," whose apartment became a house of horror dolls. We explore the meticulous methods he used to exhume and preserve the bodies of young girls from local cemeteries, and the profound question of how his actions went undetected for so long.
