Stay updated on critical developments from Israel. Shin Bet Director David Zini has warned of Hamas plotting to kidnap soldiers during sensitive periods like upcoming elections and the anniversary of the October 7th attack. In a diplomatic escalation, Britain has threatened to expel Israeli diplomats if Israel proceeds with closing its consulate in Jerusalem. A new analysis by journalist Gerald Posner examines whether Hamas's October 7th actions meet the legal standard for genocide. On the geopolitical front, reports indicate the United States has granted Israel increased latitude to target pro-Iranian militias in Iraq. Also, a hijacker's motive revealed revenge for 'genocide in Gaza', and controversial anti-Zionist remarks by Rabbi Dov Lando drew widespread condemnation. Finally, positive stories include IDF canine unit veterans honoring their retired dogs and a visit from the King of the Warri Kingdom to strengthen Jewish-Christian ties.
