Oct 7th Anniversary: Inquiry Debate & Flight Plot

Three years after the October 7th Hamas attack, Israel marks the anniversary with ceremonies and protests, as political debate continues over accountability and future security. Former hostage Gadi Moses accuses Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of opposing a state commission of inquiry, while security forces prepare for upcoming elections. Separately, investigators are reportedly examining an alleged plot by a flydubai pilot to target Ben Gurion Airport. New York City statistics reveal anti-Jewish incidents account for over half of all hate crimes recorded in the first nine months of 2026. Concerns are also raised by the case of a Philadelphia teacher who confessed to fabricating an identity, with allegations of bringing antisemitic tropes into classrooms. Key entities and topics include: October 7th, Hamas, Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister, State Commission of Inquiry, IDF, security, Ben Gurion Airport, Iran, antisemitism, hate crimes, New York City.
