Frequently Asked Questions (Porsche Buyer & Specialist Guide)

What is 911Box?

911Box is an established independent Porsche specialist based in Keston, Kent (near South London and Bromley). Established in 1995, 911Box provides specialist Porsche vehicle sales, factory-level servicing, diagnostic health checks, and restoration support across classic and modern Porsche models.

Is the Porsche 996 Turbo still good value to buy?

Yes. Powered by the motorsport-derived Hans Mezger twin-turbo engine (free from IMS bearing issues found in naturally aspirated M96 models), the 996 Turbo delivers true 190+ mph supercar performance, robust reliability, and everyday usability at a price point well below comparable air-cooled or later 997 Turbo variants.

Are the Porsche 718 Cayman and Boxster good sports car investments?

While not immediate speculative investments, the 718 generation (including four-cylinder turbo models and flat-six 4.0 variants) represents exceptional sports car value. They offer benchmark mid-engine chassis balance, contemporary cabin tech, and accessible real-world performance, making them some of the most usable and rewarding modern Porsches on the second-hand market.
