Alan's Stool Sample Saga, Cheese & Wine Pairings and Red Wine & Cola?!

This week on Bottoms Up! Alan and Lee kick things off with a red wine and cola cocktail, but Alan is dubious. Will this unlikely concoction work, or will it be another culinary disaster on the scale of his infamous chicken tikka lasagne? Elsewhere, Lee's raging about the sugar tax and the ever-shrinking size of his favourite chocolate bars, while Alan reveals how he entertained himself as a student without a TV… with a little help from the Argos catalogue. The boys discuss Alan's time on the new series of The Masked Singer, baffling supermarket slogans, and the burning question: how exactly did Alan end up posting a stool sample through the door of a travel agent?! Plus, Cheese & Wine Expert Jessica Summer (@mouseandgrape) joins the boys with a selection of delicious pairings. But which combination proves so emotional that it sees Lee breaking down in tears?
