What's going on, RC world! Welcome back to another episode of The No Name RC Podcast!

In this episode, Lefty sits down with one of the true legends of RC racing, two-time IFMAR World Champion Mark Pavidis, for an incredible deep dive into his racing career and the history of our sport.

From his early days racing in Southern California to becoming one of the biggest names in RC, Mark takes us behind the scenes of the golden era of racing.

We talk about his years at Team Associated, the legendary rivalry with Brian Kinwald, the intense battles between Associated and Losi, and his first IFMAR World Championship victory in Japan in 1995.

Mark also breaks down his unforgettable 2006 IFMAR 1/8 Nitro World Championship victory in Jakarta, including his preparation, tire choices, race strategy, and some interesting behind-the-scenes stories!

We also get into his time at Pro-Line, the development of AKA Tires, his touring car racing career, the business side of the RC industry, and watching his son Ryan Pavidis make his own name in racing.
