Shadows of the Zizians

A cult-like collective known as the Zizians, spearheaded by a former blogger named Jack Lasota, has been connected by authorities to a series of violent homicides across the United States. Originating from roots within Silicon Valley's rationalist movement, the group developed extreme philosophies that eventually justified unlawful behavior, evasion of rent, and aggressive altercations. Over several years, members escalated their activities from local housing disputes and a brutal landlord attack to homicides in Pennsylvania and a deadly shootout with a border guard in Vermont. Following a nationwide manhunt, law enforcement successfully apprehended Lasota and several key associates after a property owner reported them as suspicious trespassers. While experts note that the collective shares distinct behavioral patterns with traditional cults, ongoing investigations continue to unravel the precise motivations behind their violent crime spree.
