Cases and Curses from Witchcraft

In this episode of the Demonologist Podcast, religious demonologist Adam Blai dives into several compelling cases of witchcraft, curses, and spiritual warfare, highlighting how these unseen forces can impact everyday life with dramatic effects. As a seasoned expert, Blai clarifies the true nature of witchcraft and black magic, framing them as dangerous acts of asking demons for favors—a path that inevitably leads to destructive consequences. He unpacks the critical distinction between possession and mere spiritual influence, emphasizing that while true possession can dominate a person's body and lower faculties, it can never conquer their intellect or free will. To illustrate these dangers, Blai shares the gripping case of a young woman who was possessed after reading tarot cards for the very first time, a crisis triggered by ancestral curses and the improper use of spiritual authority.

Drawing from both real-world experience and theological foundations, the episode explores how curses manifest physically and spiritually, sharing examples of ritual actions performed over food and objects. Blai grounds these modern anxieties in the biblical foundation of God's permissive will, citing the Book of Job to explain why demonic activity is allowed to occur. Ultimately, the episode serves as a powerful reminder of the spiritual protections available to believers. Blai emphasizes that living in a state of grace, maintaining a strong life of faith, and engaging in regular prayer are the ultimate defenses against demonic influence. He concludes with practical, everyday advice for spiritual safety: stay close to God, bless and protect your food, and strictly avoid any objects or foods associated with black magic.
