Joy Hollingsworth/Jason Lajuenesse/Wazma Samizay

Wow what a moment for the Emerald Gem! Here we launch our 5th season featuring some major Seattle drivers of commerce and community organization. I was elated when we were able to get time to sit down with our City Council President and third generation Seattleite Joy Hollingsworth; Daydream State CEO Jason Lajeunesse and 20 year small business veteran Wazma Samizay.

I was honored to get to chat with these three heavy hitters of commerce and local engagement to chat about Capitol Hill as a power house of Seattle's creative economy, how we sustain supporting our creative community and diving into the journeys of these three special individuals who have spent so much of their lives being invested in what makes Seattle one of the greatest cities in the world.

Celebrate the launch of our fifth season with this brand new epsilon in partnership with 100Percent who built us an incredible set and produced this next season featuring some incredible Seattle musicians.
