Ed Goddard runs 1:02:48 at Valencia Half Marathon after recovering from illness, while Kibiwott Kandie wins in a world-leading 57:40, one second ahead of Yomif Kejelcha and Hagos Gebrhiwet. Josh Phillips took out the NSW 10000 m Championship in 29:23.98 ahead of Tom Do Canto. Katie Porra from the ACT was first across the line in the women’s race in 35:41.17, with Leyla Liakatos taking the state title in 36:16.62 Athletics NSW Report
