On Friday 19th September 1947, two robbers - Christopher James Geraghty and Charles Henry Jenkins - were executed having killed an innocent bystander whilst in pursuit of a robbery, as no-one could prove which man had committed the murder. It's a trial which brought about the abolition of the death penalty in the United Kingdom. But who was the real victim?
