In a recent episode of the "Hidden Killers" podcast, Tony Brueski and Bob Motta, a renowned defense attorney and host of the Defense Diaries podcast, delve into the perplexing development. "Is it odd that as this investigation into Heuermann continues, the commissioner steps down? Are we venturing into Sopranos territory here?" Brueski questioned, highlighting the timing of Harrison's resignation amidst the ongoing investigation.

Defense attorney John Ray has linked Heuermann to a series of sex parties and swingers' gatherings, extending back to 1996. Multiple people coming forward with memories about things that happened with him in the past seems very significant."

Motta responded, "Humans are bizarre. Heuermann's ability to compartmentalize his life is beyond normal, possibly indicating a deeper psychological issue."

Another critical aspect of the case is the unregistered firearms found in Heuermann's possession. Motta opined, "Heuermann has bigger worries than gun charges. But if Asa is found complicit in any way, she could face serious consequences."
