In December of 2012, Sandy and Jim Melgar were celebrating their anniversary when the unthinkable happened, Jim was brutally murdered and Sandy was tied up and had seemingly suffered a seizure and had no recollection of what had happened. Soon enough Sandy found herself charged and was found guilty of killing her husband.
