This trade deadline will be a different one this year and one thing that could happen are moves being made well before the deadline day. The Islanders didn't wait to pull the trigger on a big deal that brings Kyle Palmieri to New York. Other players were involved but the big fish is Palmieri and the Devils getting a first round pick in this years draft in return. Who wins this deal?

Nobody thought Henrik Lundqvist would play this season, except for maybe Henrik Lundqvist. The Hall of Fame goalie has a check up at the end of this month and if all goes well we could see him between the pipes before the season is over. That's crazy.
