Fight! Fight! Fight!

In this episode, we'll talk about emotional blind spots in fights and how to avoid them. Don't worry—I won't be too technical or academic!

When we fight with our partners, the most important thing is to remember not to let yourself get frustrated or angry. But it's also important to remember that we all have an emotional blind spot when it comes to fighting with our partners. This means that sometimes, even though we're trying really hard not to let ourselves get angry or frustrated with our partners during fights, it happens anyway. The good news is, you can learn how to identify your emotional blind spots and do something about them before they cause problems in your relationship.

So what are emotional blind spots? They can be anything from a tendency toward anger, to insecurity about your own intelligence or appearance, or a need for approval from others.

It's something that you're not consciously aware of, but that causes you to act in ways that aren't in your best interest or aren't helping your relationship. For example, if your partner says something you don't like and then walks away from the conversation, you might feel hurt and angry—but even though it feels like they are being mean, they may not actually be trying to hurt you or offend you. They may just have an emotional blind spot where they don't realize how their actions affect others until it's too late.

Whatever your particular blind spot is (and everyone has one), it's important for you as a couple that you learn how to identify it and work on addressing it together so that you can fight fair without letting any of those pesky emotions get in the way!

When do you find yourself fighting with your partner most often? Is it when they don't do what they say they'll do? Or maybe it's when they don't listen to what you are trying to tell them? Either way, take some time today—when no one else is around—to think about why these types of situations make you upset so often.

The important thing is recognizing when your feelings are getting out of control so that you can get back on track before they become too much for either of you.
