Episode 183 Jeremy Schell: “The Can-Am DS 250 Stroke that almost happened”

Episode 183 Jeremy Schell: “The Can-Am DS 250 Stroke that almost happened”

Jeremy Schell's journey into racing started with three-wheelers, a passion passed down from his father when he was just 6 or 7 years old. He cut his teeth in the world of drag racing in local competitions. At the end of 1993, he had his first taste of an actual race track and triumphed in his very first race, riding a 258.

Schell's path to his third consecutive ITP QuadCross title was anything but smooth. During moto one, a fierce wind gust sent him tumbling off his quad as he attempted to clear a tabletop. This mishap put his championship hopes in jeopardy, as Dana Creech trailed Kory Ellis in second place and lagged behind in season championship points by eight. Schell, displaying remarkable determination, swiftly remounted, ignited his Golden West Sparks Racing YFZ, and still managed to secure a respectable third-place finish.

Jeremy Schell, the Pro Racer known as "The So Cal Hick," beard the racing number 14 and rode a 2004 Yamaha YFZ quad. As a multi-time GNC Four-Stroke National Champion, Jeremy Schell continued to make waves in the racing world, achieving back-to-back championships aboard his Laeger-chassied, TC Racing-modified four-stroke Honda.

Discover the story of the racer who defied the odds and the challenges he faced on his journey. Plus, a glimpse into "The Can-Am DS 250 Stroke" – a story of the almost impossible.

Join us for an action-packed episode as we delve into Jeremy Schell's thrilling career and the passion that drives him to conquer the racetrack.
